Nordic Day 2023 Celebrated in Dhaka

A vibrant celebration of Nordic Day 2023 was jointly organized by the Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden in Bangladesh on Monday at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel, Dhaka. The event was hosted by the Ambassadors of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, and featured Denmark Alumni Network Bangladesh (DANB) as a significant stakeholder.

The Ambassador of Denmark, H. E. Winnie Estrup Petersen, extended a special invitation to DANB, whose members actively participated in the event. Key attendees from DANB included Dr. Akhter Uz Zaman, Dr. Imranul Islam, Dr. Afjal Hossain, Dr. Abu Hamza, Amreen Talukdar, Dr. Emranul Ahsan Hira, and Dr. Mohammad Harunur Rashid Bhuyan, among others. Their presence and engagement contributed greatly to the enjoyment and success of the program.

 

 

The event missed the presence of the honorable convener, Dr. Mohammad Bakhtiar Rana, who was acknowledged and remembered fondly.

DANB expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Denmark and thanked its members for their enthusiastic participation, hoping for continued support in future events.

The Nordic Day 2023 was marked by cultural exchanges and discussions aimed at strengthening the ties between the Nordic countries and Bangladesh, celebrating the shared values and cooperation between the nations.
